ABOUT
I’m Maximiliano Gomez, an industrial designer based in Daly City, California. I’m drawn to products that sit at the intersection of performance, culture, and thoughtful form; objects that feel just as intentional in use as they do in appearance.
My interest in design started long before I knew what industrial design was. Growing up around soccer, streetwear, and sneaker culture, I became fascinated by how products could carry identity. The details of a boot silhouette, the engineering of a soleplate, the texture of a material, the storytelling behind a launch, creating moments that make designs iconic.
That curiosity eventually turned into a pursuit of understanding how things are made. Today, my approach is grounded in balancing aesthetics with real-world function. I care about proportion, material choice, manufacturing feasibility, and how a product lives beyond the initial concept.
I’m especially inspired by brands that merge performance and clarity: products that solve real problems while maintaining a strong visual language. As I continue to grow, I aim to design work that feels culturally aware, technically considered, and built to last.
